1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
One project I did in 6th grade was I had to do a research paper on Russia. I made a poster and I had to talk about who founded it and the current political leaders in it. In 6th grade I did a research project on White-Out. I researched how it is made, who invented it, and how it became a world wide company. In 7th grade I made a board game for Louisiana History that had trivia questions, and I had to film a short video on one of the Lousiana parishes.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Research to me means when you gather information about that topic, from its creation or discovery to the present day in time. You write about who founded it and who created the product.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
The project I had in 6th grade on white out was a success, and I enjoyed doing that project. In 7th grade I was successful in completing the project but the experience was negative. I did not feel that what we learned was productive. Teacher Response 3-15-07

1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
It helps you find a priority of events and what is the most important to research. Since I had to get them checked they are more rellavent to the subject. I found it medium difficulty, it was a challenge. Teacher Response 3-21-07
